Short Biography

Rev. Hazard was born in the northern region of Haiti into a devoted Christian family. From a young age, it was clear that God had placed a special calling on his life—so much so that his mother and oldest sister affectionately called him “Pastor” even as a child. Embracing this divine calling, he pursued theological studies and graduated from the Séminaire Théologique Nazaréen d’Haïti in 2004. He was later ordained as a Nazarene pastor in 2012. Over the years, he faithfully served the Church of the Nazarene in various leadership roles throughout Haiti. In 2021, he made the decision to move to the United States, continuing his mission to serve God’s people with passion and dedication.

In 2008, Rev. Hazard married Milca Laurince, and together they have been blessed with three wonderful children: Michelise Milzare, Hazard-Jürgen, and Mathusalem Sebastian Zamar. After assisting churches in the Chicago area, he felt God’s call to establish Good News Church in 2023. The mission of this church is to build a strong, Christ-centered community in Chicago—both spiritually and socially—through worship, prayer, evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, and service. Rev. Hazard’s greatest passion is to love, equip, and serve people for the glory of God’s kingdom, helping them grow in faith and experience the transforming power of God’s love.
